April Fool's Day 2008

From the crew of Mistress Grace, CowBoyCaleb, JesuaFreak, CowGoesMoo, Cool402, Dowagr and myself, we would like to wish everybody, especially those in the CowBoyBar, a Happy April's Fool Day!!!

So what is the con of the year? 

There is no such person as Nurse Debbie Koh!!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we created the fictional character and took turns playing her role on MSN as well as the in the CowBoyBar!

Anyway, while it was just pranking fun, we do apologise in advance if we have hurted/cheeted/bruffed your fweelings.

The April Fool 2008 Crew

Background

The idea of Nurse Debbie for April Fool's Prank 2008 was conceived 3 weeks before D-Day. There were quite a bit of preparation work done prior to launching her onto the CowBoyBar.

• First, it has to be a girl coz the CowBoyBar has a lot of cheehongkias friendly people who make friends readily.
  
  
• We throw in the bit about her being a nurse cause the CowboyBar has a lot of cheehongkias just to facilitate more topics for discussion.
  
  
• We profile Debbie as one who is young, nubile, fun, sporting and a bit on the naive side so that the cheehongkias think that they have an opening for expliotation.
  
  
• We also create an email account for her to sign up onto the CowBoyBar as well as to have an MSN account that we take turns to man the Debbie Hotline.
  
  
• Her background was that she is the little sister of my long-time good buddy and has the longest crush on me since. However, portraying that I only treat her like a little sister, stirs up a little of emotional frustration and vulnerability so that the cheehongkias think that they have an opening for expliotation.
  
  
• We also assign a different topic for her over the 3 weeks in order to maintain interest and ample supply of topics to chat about.

• All of us "chat" with Debbie like she is a real person on the bar, to create the impression that Debbie is real. Nobody suspected that we were in fact talking to ourselves! LOL!
  
  
• The going out with Debbie never took place coz Debbie never existed but JesuaFreak and CowGoesMoo played along to lend further credibility to Debbie's existence by providing "3rd Party Witnesses". We almost botched the whole prank when we tried to post a photo of "Debbie" only to be spotted by the sharp-eyed DuaPaiLang that it was a fake. We then make the excuse of attributing that to CowGoesMoo trying to con all of us. Thankfully, nobody said anything thereafter and we were back on track pushing forward to 01 Apr 2008.
  
  
• Admittedly, we did run out of steam towards the end as we were all pretty bogged down by our respective work (Quarter-End of the year) and we did think about abandoning the whole project. The beauty of this prank was that there was the Abort Button always on standby to grant us the easy escape route. To get out, all we had to do is to just make Debbie disappear and no one would be the wiser.
  
  
• The Grand Finale would be the quarrel between Mistress Grace and Debbie where we would shooting everybody, who got caught in between the crossfire, down. (See above link)
  

Anyway, to all those who got duped. Happy April Fool's Day! Don't kill us!!

Award Time

We have created a Nurse Debbie Award 2008 for the one we think was most duped. There were many candidates but it was decided that the winner is.....

When the quarrel started, Barffie was so kan cheong that she MSN-ed me to help resolve the conflict since I was the common denominator between the two bickering parties.

Barffie as we can see, is a kind soul who had the misfortune to kena set up by us.
