One of the problems with regards to living in Spitland is that the TV programs here suck monkey balls. (Maybe that explains the population size here. =P) Fortunately, there is the internet and thank the lucky stars for downloads via Torrent and Ed2ks.
For this I am lucky to be able to have TV shows from the US and UK to download and keep myself occupied in the evenings. I supposed since all these TV shows are mostly free-to-air via the major networks, the legality of these downloads are problem more grey than if one were to download a movie or software.
Anyway, as we enter the fall season of the year, new seasons of the various shows as well as new shows are starting to trickle in and that also in effect ended this year's crop of summer movie releases.
So here are the shows that I am following and I thought I share and recommend them to you.

Kelly: 24. Good show but if you notice a trend in my selection, they
tend to be shows with a dash of humour in it. The one show that I would
like to single out for mention here is Lost which I am closed to ditching
already. Unless the writers can start injecting new direction in the plot,
this show is going nowhere.
Worse, there is no way to end it. Who knows, the network suits may just
yank it off the air abruptly and guess what? Nobody would care.
hiaoauntie: Well, it's not like I have any better to do in the
evenings. Besides, you count the total length of time of the shows
currently on air, you would realise that they add up to a mere 7 hours in
total which would make it 1 hour per day on average. So tell me again, is
this too much TV?
Desperate Housewives is erm... lame? Star World is a good channel as they
pick good shows so far. Love My Name is Earl and How I Met Your Mother.
Mandrake introduced me Heroes when it was into its 5th episode back then -
and it's great until ... I don't know why but this superhero show seem to
be very... *shrug* seen before?
Wah.... Watch so much TV, no scared brain will rot meh?? Kekekeke :P
You should watch Arrested Development. It's a really good, humorous show.
I'm a huge fan. Too bad it got canceled in its third season.
Barffie: I like the little subplots in the shows. That's the only
thing that interests me and er.... Bree van der Kamp. *blush*
Speaking of lame, the first thing that came to mind was the character Susan
Myers whose bumbling antics, if you ask me, is merely lame slapstick. Not
funny.
As for the deja vu feeling when it comes to Heroes, perhaps "The Hall of
Justice" would trigger a bell ringer? Yes, I believe that the deja vu
feeling comes from the cartoon Superfriends where we have all these super
heroes in one place, all with an unqiue set of special powers. Only
difference is that in the cartoon, these characters don't try to kill each
other.
Or perhaps you are refering to the X-Men where mutants with special powers
mingle among the ordinary folks and these mutants are split into two
opposing factions trying to eliminate one another?
Speaking of speaking people with special powers trying to kill each other,
what about Harry Potter?
So there, that's your deja vu.
Bellatrix: Moderation is the keyword here and no, I don't think I
watch too much TV and no, I don't think my brain will rot and yes. My brain
rotted a long long time ago.
It's called National Service.
Alek: Welcome to the blog! I followed Arrested Development for like
one and half season before I lost interest. I have always been a fan of
Jason Bateman since the early days where he was in the sitcom "The Hogan
Family" which was later renamed as "Valerie".
And yes, there is Portia de Rossi to oogle at. Hur hur hur.....
psych nice meh? i watched one episode, very disappointing...i didnt think
he was that psychic. but house and scrubs are good. numbers i also like.
akk: I like Psych as it is very funny. He is not psychic at all
which makes all the more hilarious.
i have no time to catch so many shows! *shrugs* ah well... It doesn't
matter.... I guess the only one on your list that I'm following is Heroes.
Las Vegas, Ugly Betty and Scrubs, only when I know and manage to catch it.
:) I dun really like Lost, and I've not watched a single episode of it. I
haven't heard of some of the others probably cos they are not shown in 5g
lah... but I quite like CSI and try to catch it when I'm around or
free-r.... heheh!
Aloe: Here's the thing about being in Spitland. You have a shit load
of free time in the evenings. I rather be staying at home and watching TV
then to be out there drinking at the KTVs with the fellow business people.
If you wanna watch Lost, I recommend watching the first season. It's not
bad. Unfortunately the writers of the show seem to be going around in
circles until it is starting to feel draggy.
I am going to watch the first episode when the new season opens. If it
doesn't continue to interest me, I am going to drop it like I have done
with CSI where after enough seasons, they all starting to look alike.
Can help me get a few series when u come back? looking for BSG All Seasons,
House Season 1&2 and Lost season 3.
rouk: *cough* we go talk on *cough cough* MSN.
